VAT + EORI Registration and Tax Filing
VAT stands for VALUE ADDED TAX, a value-added tax commonly used in EU countries, i.e., a tax on the profit of goods. When goods enter the UK (under EU law), import tax is paid on the goods; after the goods are sold, the merchant can reclaim the import VAT and then pay the corresponding sales tax based on the sales amount.
EORI stands for Economic Operator Registration and Identification, a registration number required for any individual or business engaged in economic activities within EU countries, especially those involved in import and export. Whether or not you have a VAT number, if a seller imports goods into an EU country in the name of the importer and subsequently claims import tax refunds (only for businesses with a VAT number), they must submit this EORI number to customs.
Product Advantages:
Legal customs clearance with proper declaration; eligible for import VAT refunds; avoid joint liability from customs inspections caused by using others' VAT for clearance, which may lead to goods being detained and unable to clear; provide valid VAT invoices to overseas customers to increase platform order volume.
Insurance Purchasing Service
Cargo transportation insurance is insurance that covers various goods during transit. Insured categories include: basic risks, comprehensive/air risks, and non-delivery risk (theft risk). In international trade, cargo transport and cargo transport insurance are two important and error-prone links. Facing fierce competition, risks such as cargo damage, rough handling, late delivery, theft and loss, and deterioration or odor contamination may lead to claims from the shipper. How to avoid risks and win in a market where opportunities and risks coexist is undoubtedly a problem every logistics company must face. To mitigate risks, purchasing cargo insurance is undoubtedly a good solution.
Minimum Deductible:
Deductibles vary by insurance company and are basically 0 (i.e., the insurer handles the claim once a loss occurs). The deductible agreed with AIG is RMB 100, and relevant information is stated in the insurance terms.
Export Tax Rebate Service
The concept of export tax rebate: export tax rebate (exemption) is the refund (or exemption) of taxes on exported goods that have been declared and left the customs territory. According to relevant tax laws, the tax authority refunds to the exporting enterprise the indirect taxes such as domestic VAT or consumption tax paid in each production and circulation stage before export. The purpose of the export tax rebate is to avoid international double taxation of domestic exports, allowing exported goods to leave the country's customs territory at tax-free or low-tax prices, ensuring the competitiveness of export products.
Conditions for Export Tax Rebate Goods:
The goods must fall within the scope of VAT and consumption tax; must be goods declared and leaving the customs territory; must be treated as export sales in accounting; and must have received foreign exchange and been verified.
