Introduction to FBA First-Leg Knowledge

With the continuous development of Amazon, the use of Amazon FBA First-Leg is also growing in practice. It is simply a term for the First-Leg delivery and transportation of Amazon's overseas FBA warehouses. Below, I will briefly introduce some knowledge about FBA First-Leg:

Amazon currently mainly consists of three core businesses:

1. Media (i.e., sales commission on their own vendors' products);

2. FBA (renting storefront, selling traffic, split-warehouse rental, packaging and shipping on behalf, collecting payment on behalf);

3. Amazon Web Services (including products such as s3, db, aq, which can be understood as IDC, CDN acceleration, and personalized site building).

For Amazon users in mainland China, Amazon FBA First-Leg includes the cost of two steps:

1. Send the goods to the domestic service provider's warehouse;

2. The domestic service provider transports the goods to the Amazon warehouse (Amazon USA or Amazon Europe).

① Standard Service

Goods are received from warehouse cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou in China, and delivered via sea or air freight to sellers' designated Amazon warehouses in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Germany, and other countries.

② Value-added Service

1. Print Amazon labels: print the corresponding label for each product according to Amazon FBA barcode content requirements;

2. Labeling on behalf: according to Amazon FBA inbound requirements, affix the corresponding barcode to each product;

3. Box-splitting fee: according to Amazon FBA inbound product type and quantity requirements, sort and pack by carton.

③ Return Service

We can assist in handling returns from Amazon warehouses. We help customers re-operate goods for re-shipment to the warehouse or other handling. Additional fees apply for related operations based on actual circumstances.

④ Extended Service

Act as agent for import/export customs declaration, and pay duties, customs miscellaneous fees, and VAT on behalf of the customer.
